Creafine Workshop Day

Afgelopen zondag heb ik een hele dag workshops gevolgd bij Creafine in Papendrecht.

In totaal heb ik vijf kaarten gemaakt met allerlei technieken.

Het was weer erg gezellig en ik heb er weer het één en ander van opgestoken

 

Last Sunday I did workshops the during whole day at Creafine in Papendrecht.

I made five cards met different techniques. It was a fun day and I learned some new things.

 

 

 

 

 

 

De kaart met het vogelkooitje is mijn favoriet. De stempelset hiervan, van Crafty Individuals, heb ik van mijn moeder gekregen.

 

The card with the birdcage is my favourite. My mother gave me the stampset from Crafty Individuals as a present.

 

Creafine organiseerd in oktober weer een stempeldag. Hou hiervoor de website van Creafine in de gaten.

 

In oktober Creafine wil organise another stampingday. Check the website from Creafine for the date.

 

 

 

 

Postcrossing # 3

Hierbij weer een kaart die ik heb gestuurd naar een adres in Duitsland wat ik had opgevraagd bij postcrossing. Helaas is de kaart nog steeds niet aangekomen.

 

Again a card I sent to an adress in Germany. The adress was requested on the website of Postcrossing. Unfortunately the card has not reached its destination yet.

 

 

Ik maakte deze foto in de zomer van 2012. Ik woonde toen nog in een ander huis en fietste door de weilanden naar huis.

 

I made this picture in the summer of 2012. I then lived in another house and I drove on my bicycle through the meadows home.

 

Het idee van postcrossing is dat je een kaart per post naar iemand stuurt aan de hand van een opgevraagd adres op www.postcrossing.com. Vervolgens ontvang je zelf ook weer een kaart. Van wie is een verrassing. Dat kan uit de wereld zijn.

The concept of postcrossing is that you send a postcard to a adress that you request on www.postcrossing.com. After you will receive a card yourself. It is a suprise from who. The can be sent from all over the world.

Birthday Cards

Een aantal jaar geleden won ik op een forum een pakketje met papier en viltstickers van Basic Grey.

Eindelijk had ik de inspiratie om er iets mee te doen.

 

Some years ago I won a prize on a forum containing papers and feltstickers from Basic Grey.

Finally I found some inspiration to make something with it.

Moo-mania challenge "Pointy Hats"

Het Moo-mania blog heef weer een leuke challenge ! "Pointy Hats"

 

Ik ben weer terug geweest in de tijd en heb er weer eens een hoedje gevouwen.

 

Again the Moo-mania blog has a fun challenge ! "Pointy Hats"

I went back in time and folded a little hat.

 

 

 

Op internet vond ik de bladmuziek van het liedje "hoedje van papier". Dit heb ik verkleind tot de maat van de Moo in Word. Vervolgens heb ik dit geprint en bewerkt met Distress ink en stempels.

 

I found the music on the internet from a wellknow Dutch song "hoedje van papier" (transl.:little hat from paper). In Word I shrinked it to te size of the Moo. I printed it and spounged it with Distress ink and put some stamps on it.

 

 

Het hoedje heb ik opgefleurd met wat draadjes en wat steentjes zodat het een echt feesthoedje wordt !

 

I added some thread and stones to make this hat a real partyhat!

ATC Traffic

Vorig jaar maakte ik voor een swap met het thema "vervoer" deze ATC.

Last year I made this ATC for a swap with the theme "Traffic".

 

 

 

Op de achtergrond heb ik een stuk landkaart gestempeld met Versamark en dit geëmbost met wit embossingpoeder.

Daarna heb ik de achtergrond gesponst met Distress Ink.

 

On the background I stamped a piece of a map with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossingpowder. Then I sponged the background with Distress Ink.

 

De boot is gestempeld en uitgeknipt. De tekst heb ik gemaakt met stukjes cardstock die ik door een lettertang heb gehaald.

 

I stamped the boat and cut it out. I made the textstrips with cardstock and a labelmaker.

Moo-Mania challenge Postage Stamps

Het thema op het Moo-mania challengeblog is postzegels.

 

The challenge at the Moo-mania blog is to make a Moo with postage stamps.

 

 

 

Eerst heb ik de achtergrond bewerkt met stempels in twee kleuren Distress ink. Ik gebruikte hiervoor de kleuren dried marigold en ripe persimmon. Daarna heb ik een postzegel in tweeën gesneden en deze op de Moo geplakt met Multi Medium gloss. Vervolgens heb ik het hele kaartje nog afgewerkt met Multi Medium. Daaroverheen heb ik twee poststempels gezet met zwarte Stazon.

 

I created the background with stamps and two colours Distress ink. I used the colours dried marigold and ripe persimmon. After that I cut a postagestamp in two en glued it on the Moo with Multi Medium Gloss. Then I covered the whole Moo with Multi Medium. In the end I stamped two postagestamps wih black Stazon.

Art Journey Challenge #30 Inchies

Deze maand is het thema bij de Art Journey Challenge "Inchies".

 

This month's challenge at Art Journey is to make a project with "Inchies".

 

 

De inchies zijn gekleurd door direct met een Distress ink kussen over het papier te wrijven.

Ik heb de kleuren Salty Ocean en Mowed Lawn gebruikt.

 

I coloured the inchies by moving a Distress ink pad over the paper. The colours I used are Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn.
