Cardchallenge SA Forum

In april organiseert het SA-Forum een leuke kaartenchallenge. Het is de bedoeling een kaart te maken met alleen maar eigen gemaakte embellishments.

 

The SA-forum has a fun cardchallenge in April. You have to make a card with handmade embellishments.

 

 

De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt door ink spray op mijn craftsheet te sprayen en daarop mijn papier te leggen.

 

I made the background by using ink spray on my crafsheet and putting the paper in it.

 

 

Ik gebruikte de kleuren Bubblegum Pink, Calypso Teal en Lemon Zest hiervoor.

 

I used the colours Bubblegum Pink, Calypso Teal and Lemon Zest for it.

 

 

Daarna stempelde ik het raster en de takken aan de zijkant met Distress ink.

 

After that I stamped the gridpattern and the branches on the side with Distress ink.

 

Ook nog een paar cirkel met goud gestempeld.

 

And some stamped circles with gold.

 

 

De bloem is geknipt uit papier van een oud boek.

De knoop is gemaakt met grijsboard, tissuepapier, ink spray Fresh Lime en Glossy accents.

I cut the flower from paper out of an old book.

The button is made with chipboard, tissuepaper, ink spray Fresh Lime and Glossy Accent.

Het touwtje heb ik gekleurd met ink spray Calypso Teal.

My craftspace #2

Alhoewel mijn hobbykamer nog niet klaar is, is het wel leuk om wat tweedehands spulletjes voor de inrichting te kopen.

 

Althought my craftspace is not ready yet it is always nice to buy some secondhand things to decorate it.

 

Twee mooie hanglampen. Ik heb besloten in mijn hobbykamer te gaan werken met wit, blauw en groen.

 

Two nice lamps to hang on the ceiling. I decided to use the colours white, blue and green in my craftspace.

 

 

En daarom ook dit mooie groene blik als opbergruimte.

 

And thats why I also bought this nice green tin for storage.

 

 

 

 

Postcrossing # 4

Weer een kaart gemaakt voor "Postcrossing". Deze keer is het een collagekaart geworden en deze kaart is nu onderweg naar de Oekraïne.

 

I made another card for "Postcrossing". This time I made a collagecard and it is on it's way to the Ukraine.

 

 

De plaatjes zijn van Crowabout Studio.B en Tumble Fish Studio. Ze zijn te koop via internet en je kunt ze in elk formaat printen.

You can buy them on the internet and print them in any size.

Beide challenges heb ik verwerkt in onderstaande kaart.

I mixed both challenges in this card.

 

 

Ik had eerst met Distres ink Antique linnen gestempeld maar ik vond dat toch te licht.

Ik heb hierover heen gestempeld met de kleur Tea Dye. Uiteindelijk geeft dit een mooi schaduweffect.

 

First I stamped with Distress ink Antique linnen but I thought the colour was to light.

Then I stamped it again with Tea dye. In the end I created a beautifull shadow with it.

 

 

 

Ik gebruikte de Tiny Attacher van Tim Holtz om de bloem vast te maken. Dit is één van mijn nieuwe speeltjes die ik laatst heb aangeschaft.

 

I used the Tiny attacher from Tim Holtz to fasten the flower. This is one off my new toys that I bought lately.

My card in Art Specially #16

In 2012 stuurde ik een kaart naar het Art Specially magazine. De kaart is gepubliceerd in nummer 16 die net uit is en dat vindt ik erg leuk! In magazine 15 stond een oproep om een project in te sturen met eigen gesneden stempels.

In 2012 I send card to the Art Specially magazine. The card is published in magazine number 16 that has just been released. I really like this ! In magazine number 15 there was a call to make a project with handcarved stamps.

 

 

Hieronder nog een andere kaart die ik tegelijkertijd maakte. Deze is ook gemaakt met alleen maar eigen gesneden stempels.

My Craftspace # 1

De laaste tijd heb ik weer veel werk verzet in mijn huis. Ik ben nu met mijn twee extra slaapkamers bezig. De ene kamer wordt een hobbykamer. Ik heb al grote plannen alleen heb ik nog wat tijd en geld nodig!

 

I worked in my house a lot lately. I'm working on my two extra bedrooms. One of them will be my craftroom. I have a lot of plans for it. The only thing I need is time and money!

 

Deze foto is van vorig jaar september toen ik de sleutel kreeg.

 

This photo was made last year in September when I got the key of my house.

 

 

Op dit moment staat alles in het midden zodat ik nog overal bij kan.

 

Everything is in the middle now so I can get to all my craftingstuff.

 

 

In de de tussentijd zijn de kozijnen al wit geschilderd.

 

In the meantime I put white paint on the wood around the windows.

 

 

Veel mandjes waarvoor ik een kast ga maken.

 

I'm gonna make a cupboard for these baskets.

 

 

Meer spulletjes.

 

More stuff.

 

 

Dit weekend ga ik weer verder met behangen. Het wordt al lekker wit zo.

 

This weekend I will put some more papers on the wall. The white is going to look very good.
